The best training camp ever in Teply Vrch: A lot of work and a weak mobile signal
The members of the LOVE 4 TENNIS Academy were at the tennis training camp in Central Slovakia, in the village of Teplý Vrch. The coaches are satisfied with one week of hard work there, because it has a lot of advantages.
Every year’s pre-season preparation is starting in Central Slovakia, in the village of Teplý vrch. “We have fourth year anniversary. There are good conditions for training near the water reservoir, where is, statistically, the warmest water in Slovakia. Therefore the name “Teplý vrch” (The Warm Hill). There is a cozy hotel that suits my idea of the tennis training camp accommodation. There is a weak mobile signal and in the hotel, there is no signal. That’s the baseline for a good tennis camp,” smiled the head coach of the Academy Erik Csarnakovics.
“A man is falling out of every day’s life there. It’s near the woods where they can run and do a sport. There are tennis, volleyball and soccer playgrounds, there is a room for regeneration and well-equipped gym. It’s the village where the last pub closes at eight o’clock p.m. Therefore, there is no lure for us or anything that would distract us from training,” explained coach.
Variability of the training exercises
The types of trainings in Teplý Vrch were various, thanks to father of Erik Csarnakovics, too. “My father, who was a soccer coach, is living near this place. We cooperate with him in arranging some activities. He provides a different viewpoint for our fitness coach Michal Dubovec or me. He is used to a large group of people and knows how to deal with them. There were fourteen of us there,” said head coach who describes this camp as the best ever. “There were bunch of good people, they worked hard and they had a great attitude.”
The participants included Michal Fasung, Adrian Partl and Martin Caro, who are coached by Jan Stancik, then Vladimir Kurek, Jakub Behun, Diana Spissakova and the others.
