Horansky grabs his 7th ITF title after great final match
Filip Horansky, player that spends lot of his practice time in LOVE 4 TENNIS Academy, played great tournament in Antalya, Turkey. At 10K USD Futures event he grabbed the title. According to his own words, he played the best match in the final.
Horansky (No. 364 in the ATP rankings) won his seventh singles career title in Antalya, first one in the current season. He smashed fourth seed, Swiss Yann Marti (No. 323 in the ATP rankings) after two sets 6-1, 6-1. “I think it was my best performance in the new season. I felt great from the beginning of the tournament; I was improving match by match. I beat good players on the way to the title, therefore I deserved it,” said Horansky for www.love4tennis.sk website.
Horansky played Challengers in Mexican Puebla and Canadian Drummondville before coming to Turkey. “We can say, from the Challenger in Puebla, I felt great on the court and after every match my confidence grew,” added satisfied Horansky. Slovak title winner from Antalya stays in Turkey for another Futures tournament.
