Gombos and Mecir were training in the LOVE 4 TENNIS club

Norbert Gombos from Slovakia is currently experiencing the most successful period in his career. He has already occupied the 164th position in the ATP Ranking and this is the highest point in his career.  He is s a regular visitor of the LOVE 4 TENNIS club as the head coach Erik Csarnakovics was his coach in the past.
You were training at the club L4T on Tuesday. Why?
“There was no possibility to play in the National Tennis Centre in Bratislava because of the full schedule there. I am very glad that I still have good relationships with Erik Csarnakovics and with all the people in LOVE 4 TENNIS. I was training there for three and a half year. It was a pretty long time and Erik had helped me with the transition from junior tennis to professional tennis and I am really grateful for that. We are still in touch.”
How often do you go to the LOVE 4 TENNIS club?
“It depends on the circumstances. When they call me to be a sparring partner, of course I come. The truth is that I am used to go to the club quite often, just to see what´s new.”
What are the advantages of this club? Why is it so different from the others?
“They have a very good professional approach. Players and members of the club have very good conditions. They can train both on clay and on hard surfaces. They also have psychologists to help them get better mentally. They have regeneration, physical therapists, massage therapists. Obviously, they have the best conditions for training there.”
You were training in the L4T with Milos Mecir Jr, the son of the famous father…
“Yes, we are friends. I always like to play with him because he is a solid and talented player. We were at the challenger in Kazan last week, because we often go to tournaments together.”
